Warning

Something I’m really interested in lately is taking quotes without historical context from historical figures. For example; if you see a Gandhi banner at a hippy store (I did yesterday, it was very well made and the store smelt fantastic and the bald man with the massive eyebrows who owns it always chats with me when I buy incest incense) it always has an inspirational quote underneath it because we have turned Gandhi into a symbol for peace. We have made him and many others into demi-gods and some into demons, while ignoring the fact that they are merely human. Gandhi, to continue the example, was a massive racist. So I’m going to make some motivational posters with negative quotes from positive symbols and positive quotes from negative symbols to make that point.
